With DOUBLE IMPACT, Impact Plastics has fused a second layer of plastic to the hinge line, doubling the thickness of already the most durable hinge line on the market. This reinforced hinge line virtually eliminates ovalizing and splitting on the hinge line holes and increases the container “up-time” in the field, cutting the cost of lid purchases and repairs by more than 1/2.

Additionally, a lid rod guide is incorporated into the hinge line, which enables the lid rod to slide effortlessly into place. Impacts vacuum forming manufacturing process produces one piece container lids, without any seams on the hinge line or other stress points of the lid. Impact Plastics Corporation includes additional UV protection into their lids, which protects the lid from the effects of both extreme hot and cold climates. All Impact container lids come with a 5 year warranty.
